WELCOME TO TRIBES FASHION WITH TRIBESLADY CHINAZOM FRANCISCA  (CEO. 35 STITCHES)

Hi everyone!

A bit of introduction before we get talking. My name is Chinazom Francisca, I'm a modest fashion entrepreneur. I'm passionate about modest fashion and committed to raising women and men who understand that modesty in dressing is golden.

That said, may I ask, “have you've ever had this experience where you walk into an office well dressed and everyone (including those obviously older than you are) is addressing you with so much respect?”

That's the power of a good appearance! Take it or leave it, you would be addressed as you are dressed. I know this sounds sort of archaic, but it still holds water especially in this age and time where we pay so much attention to images and looks.
Oh yes! Good images are the real deal these days. Social media, websites, advertorials, videos etc hinges on the power of good images.
You walk into an interview setting and your appearance judges you first, TV anchors hire personal stylists to style them before going on air, some finance institution workers dress to 'kill' when they are out on customers that would bank with them and run accounts running in millions… The list is endless.

The crux of the matter is we are paying so much attention to our image/appearance both offline and online. As Christians who have been set apart to be Christ's ambassadors, we should also pay attention to our dressing and appearance as well. It's important for kingdom work.

How do I mean you’d ask?

How could you possibly convince someone else that 'God is good' when you're all decked in tattered clothes and looking quite unkempt?
I mean, ‘your God is good’, you should be putting on good clothes too right?

Tell me how a Christian out on soul winning exercise would be decked in seductive clothes? Would we call that preaching or seducing? Confusing really!
I can't help but imagine that God is interested in what we put on too; just like our earthly parents would want to buy us the finest of clothes largely because they won't want people to see us as children who are uncared for.

We need to realize the power our looks carry and channel that into glorifying God in our choice of clothes. Let us keep in mind the word of God in Romans 12:2... "Be not conformed to this world…"
Never be shy about looking modest;
Never feel out of league for being decent;
Be modest and slay!
Sometimes, your dress alone could do the talking, let it speak the right and edifying things!

Fashion Hack: Did you know that wearing a dress with vertical stripes would make you look taller? Yeah, it actually does.

Kindly share your thoughts with me in the comment section. I'd love to read your mind, Lol…

See you next week!

Singing Preacher Releases New Song

Just a month after the release of "Kabiyesi" by Zumba Singing Preacher, the anointed music minister comes with another thought provoking song titled, "Message to Heaven" on his birthday. Message to Heaven tells of a Christian who has gone into the field as commanded by his Master. He writes a letter to his Master to ask for help lest all he has laboured for ends up in hopelessness. The song is a mental picture of the struggle of many young Christians and older ones too who have lost faith or at the verge of losing faith. Yet, seeing that we have a Father in heaven, we believe He will send us help in no time lest we dash our feet against a stone. OMA-EMERALD PRODUCTS There is a blessing for all of those who are diligent in whatever it is they do (Proverbs 10:4). The Lord in His words said, “He would bless the labour of our hands” (Deut. 16:15). Life success is based on Applied Principles. There is the principle of sowing and reaping (Gen. 8:22), giving and receiving (Luke 6:38), laboring and given wages for labour (Luke 10:7). These 3 basic principles are the most applied though not totally recognized as important because of how simple it sounds. Humans generally are moved by sophistication but the greatest of things are in its simplest forms. The mentality to get rich quick and at all cost or to get rich by simply doing one minor thing without stress or hard work attached to it has led many to dip their hands into life-ending things with no eternal value. To the male folks, and as well as the female folks too, the act of making a pact with the devil in order to get wealth even if it’s for a season, seems t...

YAHWEH ALL THE WAY

YAHWEH ALL THE WAY! In John Piper ’s devotional, He points out 10 tings YAHWEH means. We highlight them as follows: 1. He never had a beginning. 2. God will never end. 3. God is absolute reality. 4. God is utterly independent. 5. Everything that is not God depends totally on God. 6. All the universe is by comparison to God as nothing. 7. God is constant. 8. God is the absolute standard of truth and goodness and beauty. 9. God does whatever he pleases and it is always right and always beautiful and always in accord with truth. 10. God is the most important and most valuable reality and person in the universe. This brings us to how we wish to describe God in this awesome song by U-Mark. Ugochukwu Mark aka U-Mark is known for his ever charismatic stage performance and recording excellence under the power of God has led many in worship and praise to the throne of Grace and hasn’t stopped.   In this beaut...
