Money is a vital issue for everyone. The lack of knowledge on this subject has left many in financial bondage and has left great visions and commissions unfunded.

On Yahweh's Tribe comes 'FINANCIAL FRIDAY' where first-hand knowledge of financial principles will be taught using realistic examples to apply to personal finances, as well as educating, empowering and inspiring the believing Christian youths (the future)  to be free from financial bondage.

It's is God's will for every believer to be financially empowered. (Deut. 8:18). But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

Yes, He came to set the captives free, including those in financial bondage! So take this advantage to be impacted as you join us on the monthly series of financial empowerment.

Why is it important we acquire financial knowledge?

Every man's level of financial knowledge affects his/her quality of life. What you are exposed to financially has a way of affecting your ability to provide for yourself/family and it can affect your attitude towards money and investment.

Therefore it is important you gain this knowledge for you:

*to have understanding of how money works: how you can make, manage, invest and expand money;

*to have the skills for money management and financial planning;

*to be equipped with the basic tools for budgeting and saving so that expenses and debt can be controlled;

*to achieve a lifestyle that is financially balanced, sustainable and responsible;

*to help make thoughtful and informed decisions about your finances, as we put your situation into perspective and help you evaluate your options. (Though we can't make all decisions for you)

[As time goes on, we will be giving answers to your financial questions, as we get feedback from you]

*to help you develop good financial habits.

YAHWEH'S DESIRES FOR US FINANCIALLY.

It's God's desire that His children prosper in everything on every level, finances inclusive. Under Jesus Christ we have come out from under the curse and operate in God's life-giving blessing. Everything that is Christ's is ours.

Establishing God's desire for us financially.

(Deut. 8:1-12) 8. The LORD will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The LORD your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.

9 The LORD will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the LORD your God and walk in obedience to him.

10 Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the LORD, and they will fear you.

11 The LORD will grant you abundant prosperity—in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground—in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you.

12 The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. (NIV)

(3John 1:2) Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. (KJV)

(2Cor 9:8) And God is able to make all grace [every favor and earthly blessing] come in abundance to you, so that you may always [under all circumstances, regardless of the need] have complete sufficiency in everything [being completely self-sufficient in Him], and have an abundance for every good work and act of charity. (AMP)

THE ESSENTIAL PURPOSE FOR 'FINANCIAL FRIDAY' ON YAHWEH'S TRIBE.

Poverty is an outrage against humanity. It can rob you of your freedom, hope, dignity and power over your life.

We are believing God that through this platform, an end is coming to every financial struggle in your life.

Therefore our PURPOSE:

*To expose the scandal of poverty

*To help in practical ways, root it out from your mind.

WHY WE CHRISTIANS NEED FINANCIAL FREEDOM/EMPOWERMENT

As Christians, we want freedom in all areas, so that we may be a living example of who Christ is living through us. Christ came that we might have an abundant life. Make no mistake. I'm not talking about some frivolous pursuit to secure worldly riches. I simply mean having the freedom to know that our financial situation is not a hindrance in our FAITH walk.

Most times there are discrepancies between the promise and the Financial reality of the body of Christ. I gave it a deep thought, then I discovered that too many Christians are delivered but not free.

For the remaining Fridays in this month of October, we shall be exploring together, what financial freedom is all about and how we can be free from financial bondage.

Therefore the theme for the month of October on 'Financial Friday' is FREEDOM FROM FINANCIAL BONDAGE.
